YWCA Seeks Nominations for their 42nd Annual Tribute to Women Event
Lawrence, Haverhill, Lynn, MA – YWCA Northeastern Massachusetts is seeking nominations of outstanding women who work tirelessly to make a difference in their work and communities and deserve to be recognized at the annual Tribute to Women event on May 15th. This event is a core fundraiser for the YWCA, highlighting the critical work all 25+ YWCA community programs engage in throughout Essex County and the Merrimack Valley. It is also a chance for local changemakers to connect with the community partners and supporters who are foundational to the YWCA mission and help the agency change the lives of over 15,000 women, children, and families every year.
Nominations will be accepted from February 1st, 2025, through March 1, 2025. If you know of a deserving woman you can fill out the nomination form by going on-line at https://ywcanema.org/ywca-tribute-to-women/ The nominee requirements are as follows:
- Demonstrate superior contributions and/or advancement in her profession
- Possess a drive and passion to engage in their communities and ultimately makes our cities a better place for us all to live and work together.
- Lives or works in the YWCA service area of either the Merrimack Valley, Essex County or Southern NH
- The Tribute to Women luncheon takes place every year the Thursday after Mother’s Day at the Andover Country Club from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm and we ask all honorees are available to attend in person on Thursday, May 15th, 2025.
A hallmark of Tribute is that women honored come from all walks of life; their contributions are varied, and all are remarkable in their own unique way. Since 1983, the YWCA’s Tribute to Women awards luncheon has recognized over 1200 Merrimack Valley and North Shore women leaders from business and community organizations.
