Haverhill Rotary Highlights Local Veterans Through Awards Breakfast!
The Haverhill Rotary Club is proud to announce the addition of a Veteran’s Day Awards Breakfast program. The Club has established the Rotary Veterans Service Awards to promote and highlight positive accomplishments Haverhill veterans provide to the local community upon returning from service. Awards are presented in the following categories: Lifetime Service; Youth Service; and Community Service. The Haverhill Rotary Club is currently seeking nomination from the local community of deserving veterans. Individuals must have served or be currently serving in any branch of the United States Armed Forces and be an active and ongoing volunteer within the City of Haverhill. All nominees of the Veteran’s Service Awards will be invited to attend this special breakfast at no charge to them. Because we do not want to deny any veteran a place at the breakfast table we are asking for a few sponsors to help make this a wonderful morning for all. Sponsorships range from supporting a veteran for $50 to a Presenting Sponsorship for $3,500. All levels of participation are welcome. The general public is invited to attend. Tickets are $25 each and tables of 10 are available for $250. This 1st Annual breakfast will take place on Thursday, November 10, 2016 from 7:30 – 9:30 AM. Hosted by Haverhill Country Club, the morning will include a full breakfast buffet, keynote address from Congresswoman Niki Tsongas, a presentation of awards to 3 very deserving veterans and fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders. Tickets are available online, through local Rotarians or at Pentucket Bank (One Merrimack St.) ]]>
