Backyard Birding for Kids Class ~ Nunans Florist & Greenhouses

Backyard Birding for Kids Class ~ Saturday, Nov 7th at 11 am Nunan Florist & Greenhouses Inc. will host an interactive Backyard Birding for Kids program by Mass Audubon’s Joppa Flats Education Center. Teacher and Naturalist, Kirsten Lindquist will discuss the various birds that you could possibly see at your feeder during the fall and winter months. We’ll instruct the group on how to bird using your eyes and ears and even get to take some binoculars out for a spin! Birding is a great family hobby – even in a small yard or apartment you can attract birds. Kirsten will pass on some pointers on how to welcome birds to your yard or porch, and we’ll make some easy treats to take home for your backyard bird friends!
