Ruth’s House Celebrates 25 Years of Service

The Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce Conducts Ribbon Cutting in Recognition

 

On Thursday, September 14, 2017 Ruth’s House of Haverhill marked 25 years of service to the greater Merrimack Valley area with a Ribbon Cutting ceremony conducted by the Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce. Mayor James Fiorentini and State Representative Linda Dean Campbell joined members of the Chamber’s Board of Directors including Paul Magliocchetti Chairman of the Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce’s Board of Directors. Multiple members of the community joined in wishing the staff and volunteers well on this significant anniversary. Beverly Donovan, President/CEO of the Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce and Barbara Donnegan, President of Ruth’s House’s Board of Directors were also in attendance. Since 1992, Ruth’s House has provide those in need clothing and employment training with care and compassion. The organization operates a Thrift Store at 111 Lafayette Square in Haverhill, where shoppers can find clothing, household and home décor items. Purchases directly benefit the mission of Ruth’s House and local community members.
