Greater Haverhill Chamber Honors Two Directors with 2015 Jerry Loy Award
The Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the winners of the 2015 Jerry Loy Outstanding Director Award. The Jerry Loy Outstanding Director of the Year Award is presented to an individual from the current Board of Directors who goes above and beyond in their efforts to support the chamber’s mission. This year there will be two recipients of this award, both for dedication of time and leadership efforts.
Alan Boisvert, Keon’s 105 Bistro, will receive the award for his ongoing leadership with several committees including Executive Committee, Annual Golf Committee, Restaurant Mystery Dinner Committee and our brand new Top Chef Challenge Event Committee. Boisvert has also consistently supported the Chamber through financial contributions and donation of gift cards and other product from his bistro.
Jean McCann, Pentucket Bank will receive the award for her years of commitment, leadership and promotion of GHCC’s members. McCann is the chair for the Member Services Committee and directly responsible for the Annual Business Awards Breakfast, The New Member Luncheon’s and the monthly business awards. McCann is also a regular attendee at many of the member oriented events working to assist new members with networking and relationship building.
Both Boisvert and McCann will be honored at the 2015 Annual Dinner & Awards Ceremony on Thursday, June 4, 2015 at 6:00 P.M. at DiBurro’s of Ward Hill. The Jerry Loy Outstanding Director of the Year Award is presented to an individual from the current Board of Directors who goes above and beyond in their efforts to support the chamber’s mission, its programs and events, and the organization’s financial viability. The winner is identified for his/her commitment to “doing anything at any time with a pleasant and positive attitude and always responding to the call of duty.”
