Greater Haverhill Chamber Announces Kelley Contarino as the 2016 Community Leader Award Winner
The Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the winner of the 2016 Community Leader Award. The award will be presented to Kelley Contarino of Align Credit Union.
Kelley will be recognized for her continuous efforts to create a positive impact on the local community and improve the quality of life throughout our catchment area, contributing to financial literacy and education of the community and members of GHCC. We applaud her for efforts to support students in Greater Haverhill with a presentation of in-school money literacy programs, as well as her efforts to support speakers of English as a second language through her involvement with Emmaus.
Kelley will be honored at the 2016 Annual Dinner & Awards Ceremony on Thursday, June 2, 2016 at 6:00 P.M. at Renaissance Golf Club. Reservation may be made by contacting the Chamber office at (978) 373-5663. Additional information may be found at www.haverhillchamber.com.

Kelley Contarino is a highly regarded banking professional in the Merrimack Valley. With over 20 years of experience in personal and business banking, Kelley’s real world financial knowledge has been helpful to both Align Credit Union Members and to members of the community who have attended financial literacy events which Kelley has helped organize. She has been a regular volunteer with organizations throughout Greater Haverhill, including Emmaus Inc. where she has served Community Meals numerous times and organized various drives. Additionally, Kelley is an active member of the Haverhill Kiwanis Club and is the President elect for the Board of Directors for the 2016-2017 term. With Kiwanis, Kelley has been part of Winnekenni Castle Park clean-up days, rang the bell for the Salvation Army and participated in tag days to help raise money for the Club’s Eliminate project. Kelley is an energetic board member of the Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce, attending and volunteering at many chamber events throughout the community. She also serves on the Chamber’s new member service committee.

The Community Leadership Award is presented to acknowledge and recognize a person within the Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce community that has made a positive impact to improve the quality of life throughout our catchment area. The Community Leadership Award winner will be selected based on a myriad of efforts including, but not limited to business. This Award is typically presented to a person who is an unsung hero that makes a positive impact on the community.
