PROFESSIONAL WOMEN’S NETWORK HOSTS TWO EXCITING FALL WORKSHOPS
The Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce has arranged two very engaging and informative workshops for the Professional Women in Business Networking Group that continues to meet monthly at the chamber offices on Merrimack Street. Open to all professional women in the Merrimack Valley, this professional group has continued to grow month after month, and aims to provide insight and training in trending business topics and career success tips specifically relevant to female executives.
Coming up in November, “Strategic Planning for YOUR Best Life!” presented by Deb Hoadley of Hoadley Consulting. In this session attendees will be prompted to examine what the next 5-10 years are going to bring both personally and professionally. Although many may have developed a plan for the future of their business, rarely have they thought about a plan for THEMSELVES. In this workshop, attendees will begin to develop a strategic plan for life – creating a mission, vision and a strategy that will inspire and motivate now and into the future; applying to any stage of life – from starting a career path to looking at the retirement years. The subject of discussion in December will be “MINDSET: Harness the Power of Your Brain to Achieve the Authentic Success you Crave!” presented by Michelle Wilson, MA, LMHC of Inner Oasis Counseling. In this powerful, experiential presentation attendees will learn: 3 essential secrets to make your success easier; Key myths about goal setting; Simple tricks to change guilt and pressure into choice and empowerment; the truth about your brain, change, and limiting beliefs; tips and techniques to start re-wiring your brain today; the role of rituals to put your success on autopilot; and the essential steps to stop self-sabotage now. Michelle Wilson, MA, LMHC is a psychotherapist, business owner, mom and mindset coach who is passionate about sharing the expertise she’s gained from over 20 years in the psychology field. Combining research from mind-body medicine, positive psychology, and neuroscience, she helps business owners and busy professionals release their unconscious blocks to finally get the results they desire!
The November workshop will take place Friday, November 13 from 12 to 1 PM. The second workshop will take place on Friday, December 11 from 12 to 1 PM. Both sessions include a light lunch. Cost of each event is $10 for members and $20 for non-members of the Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce. Both will be hosted by the Chamber at 80 Merrimack Street in downtown Haverhill.
