NEW DIRECTORS ADDED TO CHAMBER BOARD OF DIRECTORS at GREATER HAVERHILL
The Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce wishes to announce the incoming members to its governing body of the organization. The Chamber’s Board of Directors is in place to advise, govern, oversee policy and direction, and assist with the leadership and general promotion of the Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce in an effort to support the organization’s mission and programs.
The Board of Directors is led by the executive committee, which is made up of the Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Treasurer, Secretary, Immediate Past-Chairman and two members at large. The incoming Executive Committee for 2015-2016 will be:

The following business leaders were elected to the Board following a Chamber wide nomination and election. The directors were formally inducted onto the board at the annual meeting during the Chamber’s 99th Annual Dinner on June 4, 2015. The term for each of these officers will run from July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2018.
Kelley Contarino, Align Credit Union
Kelley is an Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager at Align in Haverhill. She has more than 22 years of retail banking experience. Kelley is responsible for managing the operations and sales of the branch, consumer loans, mortgage loans and business development. Kelley is active in the community and is a member of the Haverhill Kiwanis club and a volunteer at the Emmaus house in Haverhill.
Laura Henry-Zoubir, Joseph’s Gourmet Pasta Company
Chef Laura Henry-Zoubir is a CIA grad and Food Network “Chopped” champion! Laura quickly made a name for herself serving trendy upscale comfort food and became culinary director for Dramshop Hospitality. After starting a family with her also chef husband, they moved to Haverhill, MA to raise their daughter. Laura currently works in Research & Development for Joseph’s Gourmet Pasta Company.
Brad Howell, Career Resources Corporation
Brad is the Chief Executive Officer for Career Resources Corporation. Brad Howell is the CEO of Career Resources Corporation in Haverhill, MA where he has been for the past six years. He holds a Master’s Degree in psychology and has worked with people with disabilities for more than 25 years in a variety of capacities including direct care staff within residential and day services, program management and fund development. Brad is active with Haverhill Kiwanis and has served various roles on their Board. Career Resources recently opened a second location in Haverhill to focus on the specific employment needs of our veterans.
Mary Ellen Lawlor, ServPro of Greater Haverhill/Newburyport
Mary Ellen is employed as a Sales and Marketing representative for Servpro in Haverhill. She is a long time resident of Haverhill and is deeply committed to giving back to the community She currently serves on the Board of Directors for Community Action Inc. representing the Mayor and the City of Haverhill, The Board of Directors of the Clean River Project and the Development Advisory Board at Community Action Inc. Mary Ellen is an active participant and an Ambassador for the Haverhill Chamber.
Monique Zillich, Ward Hill Insurance
Monique Cary-Zillich started her career in the insurance industry in 2005 and then attended The Hartford School of Insurance in 2007. She currently holds a Property and Casualty license with a CPIA, CLCS designation in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Monique is active in Haverhill Exchange, Haverhill PTA and serves meal at the Senior Center weekly. She is involved in the Chamber’s Professional Women’s Network, Ambassador Committee and Downtown Event Committee.
“Our board of directors provides business experience, an historical perspective of Haverhill commerce and a passion for growth that is critical to positioning Greater Haverhill as a regional center for business and entrepreneurialism,” said Chamber President Stacey Bruzzese. “These new members will complement the current 24 member board and bring their perspectives to the already diverse experiences from businesses big and small, who are working together to make our region more competitive, more attractive, more innovative and more prosperous.”
