Wine Socials – enjoy an afternoon of sipping and learning about wine

Wine & Craft Beer Tastings have quickly become a favorite pastime and social outlet. With the availability of fine wines and spirits, and the better than 200 local brewers of craft beer in our immediate area consumers have been “treated” to experiences that would not have been possible just a few decades ago. The Cork Stop, a new local specialty wine and craft beer shop conveniently located in North Andover, offers weekly wine tasting experiences that allow for introductions to independent wine distributors and importers and up and coming wine makers. The Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce is proud to be a part of a Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting Celebration scheduled for Saturday June 13, 2015 at 2:00 PM to highlight The Cork Stop, their beautiful shop, select wine and beer offerings and their kick-off of a new concept – wine socials. Frank and his staff at The Cork Stop invite you to enjoy an afternoon of sipping and learning about wine. A relatively new concept, wine socials, are more exciting than a typical wine tasting. Each event features wines from up and coming winemakers, who are passionate about making wine. You’ll experience amazing wines, meet new people, taste delicious light fare, listen to music, and depart with a great learning experience along with your new favorite wine. The wine social kick off, Saturday, June 13^th, will immediately follow the ribbon cutting ceremony.  There will be exclusive pricing on the wines that are featured at each social.  Take advantage of a 10% discount on bottles and 20% on 12 bottles.  The Cork Stop offers plenty of complimentary parking, transportation services, to and from the socials, light fare and entertainment.
