Chamber Honors Groups Inc. With Business of the Month Distinction

Susan Schumacher is a 40+ year veteran of the travel industry and specializes in professional group tour planning.

In recognition of their quality business practices and ongoing efforts to provide exceptional travel experiences to their customers while serving a distinctive role in the community, the Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce Groups, Inc. as the January 2015 Business of the Month

For nearly 30 years, Susan R. Schumacher, President of Groups, Inc. has made it her mission is to provide creative group tours and cruises for pleasure and fund raising. As a 40+ year veteran of the travel industry, Susan provides professional group tour planning, utilizing air, cruise, rail or motor coach to any destination, from one day to many weeks.

Groups, Inc.’s commitment to the community is emphasized with Susan Schumacher‘s outstanding contributions to the Chamber and the local area over the past year.   Most notably, Susan’s participation and contribution to Ruth’s House as a member of the Board of Director has helped bring awareness to this vital organization.

In an effort to recognize outstanding achievement in the Greater Haverhill community, the Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce formally identifies a “Business of the Month” approximately every four weeks. This award is given to a Chamber member that is a proven leader in their business or industry and excels in the areas of community involvement, economic growth, customer service and professional relationships.

Award winners are recognized in area newspapers highlighting their distinction as Business of the Month, receive a complimentary guest ticket to the Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce’s exclusive “Annual Business Awards Breakfast” and are automatically entered into the running for the Annual Business of the Year award. That honor is announced during the annual breakfast which will take place in February 2016.

Nominations for Business of the Month can be submitted at any time. Forms are available by calling the chamber office at 978-373-5663 or by email at info@haverhillchamber.com. There is no fee for nominations or applications. Companies may be nominated by any member business. This is a benefit available exclusively to Chamber members.
