Haverhill, MA – Elisabeth L. Brady has received the Chartered Special Needs Consultant (ChSNC^®) designation. Elisabeth is a financial services professional with Commonwealth Financial Group, a general agency of the Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company (MassMutual) based in Boston.  Elisabeth also holds her Certification in Long-Term Care, and series 6 and 63 securities licenses; and has been serving families in the Haverhill area for six years.

MassMutual, in conjunction with The American College, created the Chartered Special Needs Consultant designation to better prepare financial services professionals to help families caring for someone with special needs to proactively plan for their loved one’s future.

The ChSNC^® curriculum grew from MassMutual’s SpecialCare program, which gives families access to information, specialists, financial products and services that can help families with dependents of any age, who have special needs, provide the best care for their loved ones.

In order to earn the designation, financial services professionals must complete a rigorous set of academic classes.  Financial professionals who achieve the ChSNC^® designation can navigate the unique considerations, estate planning, special needs trusts, life insurance, tax deductions, healthcare issues, Medicaid complexities, and the emotional aspects of providing for a loved one with special needs. MassMutual financial professionals who havereceived the ChSNC^® designation can use the Special Care Planner title.
