Pentucket Bank Announces Gregory Shaw as Chief Operating Officer and Carol Wilson as Chief Experience Officer

 

Haverhill, MA – Scott D. Cote, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Pentucket Bank, along with the Senior Management Team of the Bank, are proud to announce the recent promotion of two key executive management team members, Gregory Shaw and Carol Wilson.

Gregory Shaw has been with Pentucket Bank for nineteen years, most recently holding the position of Chief Risk Officer.  Greg’s almost thirty year career in the banking industry and his unique experience managing several diverse areas of the Bank; have established him as the ideal person to assume the key role of Chief Operating Officer, effective January 1, 2020.  In his new role, Greg is responsible for leading and managing all operational departments for the Bank; including, Risk Management, Information Technology, Consumer Lending, Commercial Loan Underwriting, Loan Servicing, Customer Support, Compliance, Security and Facilities.  His office is located in Pentucket Bank’s Main Office on Merrimack Street in Haverhill

Greg’s professional involvement also includes several volunteer roles, including Treasurer of Veterans Northeast Outreach Center, Treasurer of Family Services of the Merrimack Valley, and Board member for Penacook Place and Executive Board member of the Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce.  Greg is an accomplished carpenter and enjoys golf, hunting and fishing.  He resides in Manchester, NH with his wife with whom he has two adult children.

Carol Wilson has been named Pentucket Bank’s first ever Senior Vice President / Chief Experience Officer (CXO) effective January 1, 2020.  Carol’s most recent role with the Bank was as the SVP/Human Resource Manager however her passion and commitment to the Bank’s shift towards a Customer Experience culture proved her as the logical fit to oversee all aspects of the Pentucket Bank Experience, including employee, customer and community.    As CXO, Carol is responsible for ensuring an exceptional and consistent experience is delivered to our Customers across the Bank’s products, services and channels. The CXO will drive the Bank in maintaining a holistic focus on providing progressive and new levels of Employee and Customer experience.   Carol is responsible for overseeing the Human Resources, Learning and Development and Marketing departments and with creating and messaging a cohesive brand and vision.  She serves as the Senior Management liaison for the Bank’s Customer Experience Leadership Team.

Carol has been with the Bank since 2011 and in addition to her duties at the Bank, she serves on the Board of Directors for The Psychological Center in Lawrence, volunteers at the NH Food Bank.  Carol enjoys travel, fitness, reading and boating and resides in Bedford, NH with her husband with whom she has two adult daughters.
