Hydroplane and Runabout racing return to Haverhill August 28th and 29th. Racers from New England, Canada, Michigan, New York, Pennsylvania and Ohio will compete in American Powerboat nationally sanctioned races. The event features New England’s only Marathon Race and is free to all with viewing on the Buttuowood Trail and at the Crescent Yacht Club.  Spectators can view the race boats and meet with the drivers as well as enjoy racing action from the pits at the Crescent Yacht CLub. The Yacht Club will also host a cookout open to the public.  

Fund Raiser for Ruth's House.  Evening of Jazz, Food and Silent Auction.   At Winnekenni Castle, Saturday, August 28, at 6:00 p.m.  Call Ruth's House for more informaltion.
